Garlic Olive Oil
This is used in various cooking preparations. My homemade garlic olive oil is much more versatile than the jarred chopped garlic you can buy. When you create more of an emulsion like this is, you can use it as a marinade or topping for steaks and chops. A rougher chop covered in oil replaces chopping garlic every time a recipe requires it.
Ingredients:
1 oz of garlic cloves, peeled and each clove cut into 3–4 pieces
4 cups of pure olive oil
Procedure:
Add garlic to your food processor. Start pulsing. Begin drizzling in olive oil a little at a time while the processor is running. Scrape down the sides to make sure no big pieces are left. Place in a glass bottle and just cover the top with olive oil, and either leave on your counter or pulse until more of an emulsion and store in the fridge.
